Estas son las nominaciones a los Óscar 2024; Rodrigo Prieto, único mexicano nominado

La Academia de Hollywood– organización dirigida por artistas cinematográficos integrada por más de 7 mil miembros– dio a conocer las nominaciones para los premios Óscar 2024, en los que la industria cinematográfica de Estados Unidos premia las mejores cintas a través de 23 categorías. 

Para esta entrega, el único mexicano que está nominado es Rodrigo Prieto, quien compite por el Óscar a mejor fotografía por su trabajo en la película dirigida por Martin Scorsese, Killers of the Flower Moon. Esta es la cuarta candidatura al Óscar de Rodrigo Prieto, quien en años pasados había sido nominado por Brokeback Mountain, Silence y The Irishman, estas dos últimas también dirigidas por Scorsese.

Las películas con más nominaciones para esta entrega son Oppenheimer con 13, seguido por Poor Things con 11, Killers of the Flower Moon con 10, Barbie con 8, Maestro con 7, The Holdovers con 5, The American Fiction con 5, The Zone of Interest con 5, Anatomy of a Fall también con 5, Napoleon con 3 y Past Lives con 2.
